You can make your purchase directly through LEGO for $679.99, and if you reserve one now it won't ship out until a few weeks from now.

Why's this a big deal? The LEGO Titanic set has continued to go in and out of stock for years now and never not been on backorder when it is actually available.

For a bit of context on just how massive it is, IGN's own Kevin Wong was able to build the titanic (nailed it) set, and said of the almost 10,000-piece build that "[t]his is a rewarding, relaxing build, ideally spread over the course of three to four weeks".

The sheer size and scale of the build isn't the most impressive part, either.
