Set two years after the first movie, the brief teaser, which can be viewed below, features high stakes as the kaiju descends on New York City.As confirmed at CinemaCon, the film will pick up two years after Godzilla Minus One and will once again focus on the Shikishima family as they face a new threat.

And it looks like this will be no mean feat based on the end of the trailer, which sees the kaiju stomping through New York City...

and heading straight for the Statue of Liberty.
