Finding the Starfield Algorab system is essential if you want to visit Anchorpoint, which is a fresh starstation full of new vendors and quests to discover that was added as part of the Free Lanes update. This is easier said than done, as the Algorab system is deep in the far reaches of the galaxy and particularly tricky to track down without a search function. That's why we're here to help, with the lowdown on the Algorab location in Starfield and how to find Anchorpoint Station.

We've also got details on how the new Starfield Cruise Mode works with Free Lanes encounters, and if you've purchased the DLC then this is how to start the Starfield Terran Armada content.

How to find Algorab in Starfield

Because it isn't possible to search for locations on the Starmap, you'll need to track down Algorab in Starfield manually. If you zoom out on the map, as far as it will go, then keep moving the cursor down and right, one of the last systems displayed on the map in that bottom corner will be Algorab.

When I targeted Algorab, the travel data route suggested by Starfield was Alpha Centauri > Olympus > Volii > Bolivar > Alchiba > Zelazny > Marduk > Algorab, which might help you trace the directions. However, the jump distances increase significantly as you move further out from the central systems, and you'll need a Jump Range of at least 27.25LY to make the necessary warps to reach Algorab, so if you're not already piloting one of the best Starfield ships then you may need to progress further through the main storyline before you can make the trip out there.
