Subscribe to our newsletter Rockstar Games – the developer behind the eagerly anticipated GTA 6 and other past favorites like Red Dead Redemption 2 – has confirmed reports that another data breach has occurred, though insists that the latest incident "has no impact on our organization or our players."Earlier today, several outlets reported that an infamous hacker group claimed to have breached the company's secured cloud servers, obtaining a large collection of data as a result.
As such, the group is demanding that a sum be paid in the coming days, otherwise what has been obtained will allegedly be leaked.Now, Rockstar has issued the following statement to Kotaku, posted below in full:Article continues below "We can confirm that a limited amount of non-material company information was accessed in connection with a third-party data breach.
This incident has no impact on our organization or our players."At the time of writing, it isn't known what information the group has access to, though Rockstar offers some hints about what it might not have
