There was even a spider emoji, just to hammer home the point.

HE’S GETTING SCANNED!! pic.twitter.com/AHNDJA2Pgt— Mehmet Witch ᱬ (@WeBeenCroft) April 13, 2026 Developer Insomniac Games recast the face model for Peter Parker in Marvel’s Spider-Man: Remastered for PS5, with Jordan replacing John Bubniak.

At the time, Insomniac creative director Bryan Intihar said the decision was about "finding a better facial match for actor Yuri Lowenthal."While Insomniac is readying Marvel’s Wolverine for release later this year, talk of another Spider-Man game should come as little surprise.
