Subscribe to our newsletter While Supergirl and Clayface were the focus of the DC Studios presentation at CinemaCon, there was a small nugget of Superman: Man of Tomorrow news to tide us over: Peter Safran, co-lead of the studio, revealed that "cameras roll next week on Man of Tomorrow" (per Fandango).The follow-up to 2025's Superman brings back David Corenswet as the Man of Steel opposite Nicholas Hoult's Lex Luthor.
The pair must team up in the movie to face the new threat of Braniac, played by Babylon Berlin star Lars Eidinger.Hoult and Corenswet also appeared via footage link with James Gunn to give a few teases about what to expect from their new foe.
According to presenter Brandon Davis, Corenswet said that the movie would tackle what it's like "saving the world with your sworn enemy," as Hoult added it will feature a "new villain and an unlikely alliance."
