Subscribe to our newsletter Shortly after apologizing for generative AI use in its opening credits, Ascendance of a Bookworm studio Wit has replaced the intro.When season 4 debuted, fans spotted that the opening might have used AI.
According to a statement posted by Wit, the studio investigated the claims and discovered generative AI had indeed been used in the background art and promised to replace the art in question before episode 2.
The production committee also shared an apology online, pledging to replace the OP for the physical releases and on streaming (via Anime News Network).Now, a fresh OP has been unveiled, which you can check out below (H/T ComicBook).
It's the same as the first intro, only now without the AI use in the backgrounds
