Players have reported a number of bugs during Starfield's PS5 debut weekend, with many chasing refunds for progression-breaking problems that seem to be making saving and exploration almost impossible.

Manage cookie settings It doesn't seem to matter whether players are using a vanilla PS5 or the Pro model, as issues plague both consoles, and it's unclear whether there's a difference in experience between physical disc and digital versions.

Some have suggested disabling auto-save, but that doesn't seem to alleviate the problems for everyone.
