Palworld company Pocketpair has thrown its hat in for a potential collaboration with No Man's Sky. It's unknown if anything will become of the attempt, but it's clear one side is ready to talk, and the latest update to Hello Games' survival hit would certainly make it appropriate.
Over the last few days, Hello Games boss Sean Murray's been posting stadium symbols in various amounts on Twitter. There was no context at first, but we now know he was teasing a Pokemon-style update for No Man's Sky. Seeing this, John 'Bucky' Buckley, the head of publishing and communications at Palworld studio Pocketpair, wants some of the action. In fact, he even managed to shoot his shot minutes before the update was unveiled.
"Sean...email me, my man!" he says in a reply on Twitter. "It seems there could be a FUN COLLAB IDEA!" You don't get any clearer than that, but sometimes you have to ask nicely and see what happens. After all, that's seemingly how Palworld ended up collaborating with Ultrakill.

Shortly after this, of course, No Man's Sky's Xeno Arena update trailer dropped, and it was even stated by Murray that "we are huge fans of Pokemon, Palworld, and pet battling in World of Warcraft." Buckley hasn't said much else, but he sure seems to be excited as he replies to the announcement: "S E A N."
One could easily imagine Palworld and No Man's Sky coming together, especially now. Maybe you visit a special planet that has some Pals on it that you can help out and nurture? Then a spaceship emerges in Palworld, bringing some cosmic missions.
I imagine both instances could look like some kind of Pikmin riff in execution, and now I want this crossover just as much as Buckley. You heard the man, Murray, get in that inbox!
